We will try to keep you posted with daily events on the beach and decisions taken to remedy the situation.
- currently the beach is open to visitors but swimming is banned. There are 24/7 police visibility patrolling the beach to enforce the ban. You will be surprise how many people still want to swim with the shark after 2 people have been killed.
- There is a memorial service for the late Mr. Redmond at the beach. It is not known if Jemma will be present.
- Shark scientist from around the world are being flown in to land a hand.
- There are contradictory report of the shark spotting, some say it is a 2M shark whilst others are saying it is a 4M shark,
- There are different groups or organisations that are working toward ending this dilemma.

Gemma Redmond, the grieving British bride who lost her husband in a shark attack in the Seychelles has spoken to BBC Radio and in her own voice said:-
The last thing I would want is for any of these events to affect the Seychellois people, their livelihoods and the tourism in the area.
