Seychelles is a group of small islands so visiting them means travelling from one to the other, hence our term "island hopping". Mahe, Praslin and La Digue have public transport like buses and taxis. Your choice of transport will varry when travelling between islands, inter island boat (cat coco) and praslin express are the main ferries from mahe to praslin. Inter island ferry (cat rose) operates between praslin and ladigue on a schedule to catch the cat coco on praslin. If travelling by air, air seychelles do have daily scheduled flights between mahe and praslin. helicopter seychelles operates adhoc on demand between islands.

Opening 1st of March 2010 on mahe island is the Albizia lodge, located on the hill side at anse aux pins, 5 minutes from the airport, close to the seychelles golf club.
